Yarnfolk Hand Salve

Made for the hands that knit, weave and spin, Loomside begins with calendula and plantain steeped slowly in olive oil, then blended with jojoba, shea and mango butters and a touch of beeswax. A little arrowroot gives it a soft, velvety finish, so it sinks in quickly instead of lingering on your skein. It moisturizes and conditions dry, rough, hardworking hands, and it carries a gentle scent of lavender and rosemary, light enough that it won't follow you into your finished pieces. Warm a little between your fingertips, work it into knuckles and palms, and give it a moment before you pick up your yarn again.

Each batch is poured by hand in small quantities and filled into a 2 oz (50 g) glass jar made to live in a project bag, beside the loom or on the windowsill of your making corner.
